About Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension
ドラゴンボールZ ハイパー ディメンション, Doragon Bōru Zetto Haipā Dimenshon
Hyper Dimension is a 2D fighting game that was released in Japan on March 29, 1996 and in Europe (France and Spain) on February 1997. It's a fourth game from Dragon Ball Butōden series and the last Dragon Ball fighting game released for the Super Famicom/Super Nintendo. The game has been developed by TOSE Software Co. and published by Bandai.
Game modes
Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension features a few game modes - Story, Versus, Tournament and Practice. In the first mode, a story is similar to that of Dragon Ball Z manga and anime (Freeza, Buu and Cell sagas). You can fight in the most important battles that took place in Dragon Ball Z (and several that wasn't). The Versus mode allows you to fight custom battle against CPU or your friend. In the Tournament Mode up to eight characters (players or CPU-controlled) compete against each other, similar to the other Butōden games. In Practice mode you can train your skills against CPU.
Characters
You can chose from 10 playable characters: Goku (SSJ2), Majin Vegeta, Gotenks (SSJ3), Gohan, Super Vegito, Piccolo, Buu (Majin and Kid forms), Freeza (final form) and Cell (perfect form). The game also features Goten and Trunks in Gotenks victory pose, Mr. Satan and Bee in Majin Buu's victory pose, Super Buu on the character select screen and Krillin on the continue screen.
