Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden 3 is a classic fighting game based on Buu Saga from Dragon Ball Z TV show. It's the last part of trilogy released on Super Nintendo which also includes Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden and Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden 2.
Unlike previous games, this time there is no Story Mode. Instead, you can play in the Tournament Mode in which you'll fight against all characters available in the game. The other game modes are quite standard for this series. In Arcade Mode (1p vs Com), you can fight against the computer AI. Choose your favorite character, an opponent, a map, a few gameplay parameters, and test your skills. The best fun, of course, is in Two Player Mode (1p vs 2p). Invite your friend to play together and check outwho will be a better fighter (for instructions on how to set the keys for the second player, check the end of this description). The last one is Spectator Mode, in which you can watch the fight of two characters controlled by computer AI.
The third Butōden has more dynamic gameplay thanks to faster energy charging than in the previous two parts. You can choose from nine playable characters such as SSJ Goku, SSJ Goten, Majin Buu, SSJ Trunks (Kid), Majin Vegeta, SSJ Gohan, Supreme Kai, Dabura, and Android 18. Additionally, you can get access to the bonus character, Future Trunks. To add him to the game's roster press following combination during the game's intro (exactly when Vegeta fades into Goku): S X A Z D C.
How to play two player mode: Hover over the game screen and click the gamepad icon. Set keys for player two and play with a friend.
