Bandai Namco released the Evo 2018 trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The most important thing is the announcement of Cooler, brother of Frieza known from the fifth and sixth Dragon Ball Z movies "Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge" and "Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler ". Cooler is the seventh playable character of the first DLC season for Dragon Ball FighterZ. If you have purchased a Season Pass, you'll be able to download this character at no additional cost once it becomes available.
The trailer also shows the exact events of Saiyan Saga from Dragon Ball Z as a presentation of two new DLC characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Base Goku and Base Vegeta. Both characters will be available on August 8.

Goku and Vegeta from Saiyan Saga don't use Super Saiyan transformation, but it doesn't mean that in the realities of Dragon Ball FighterZ they will be weak opponents against themselves in Super Saiyan or SSGSS variants. Base Goku next to the iconic Kamehameha can use the Kaioken technique, which significantly increases hes speed and damage. In addition, Goku learned the Spirit Bomb technique from King Kai. It's quite slow, but a powerful attack that when used at the right moment will not give any chance to any opponent. Vegeta in his arsenal has such attacks as Galick Gun or Galaxy Breaker. Both characters were revealed for the first time September 2018 issue of Shueisha’s V-Jump.
