Bandai Namco announced some details of Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta, which starts January 14 (or January 13 if you pre-ordered the game) from midnight PST and ends on January 15 at 11:59pm PST.
The players will have access to 11 characters: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan (Adult), Freeza, Kid Buu, Perfect Cell, Piccolo, Krillin, Nappa, Android 18, and Beerus.
The fights will take place on 7 stages: Planet Namek, World Tournament Arena, West City, Volcano, Westland, Cell Games Arena, and Rocky Field (Evening).
The following modes will be unlocked during Open Beta: World Match, Battle tutorial, Rankings, Replay Channel, Stamps (Limited set), Lobby Avatar Customization, 2 Dramatic Scenes.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2.5D fighting game that uses a three-vs-three team battle system that incorporates ultra high-speed battles and flashy moves that the Dragon Ball series is known for. The game is being developed by Arc System Works and will be released by Bandai Namco for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26, 2018 in Europe and North America, and on February 1, 2018 in Japan.
